Need an answer fast... 4th gens, look at your KEYS!

What do your keys look like? I got a 4th gen key from my shop and well im not sure if its right. like the whole key is basically blank - with only a few cuts in it towards the middle. Heres a crappy example pic...

Is that right? Or did they forget half the key? lol :o

Well if you need a new one i believe you can get the key code from a dealership using the VIN and they can cut you a new one. I'm not sure how much this costs, but I have heard it done with other cars. Don't know if Honda does it.

i read while i was in the parts dept. that people would claim lost keys but they'd give the vin # of cars that's on the lot....so when night falls they'd just walk onto the lot and drive off with a brand new car..pretty slick if u ask me
