04 2.2 ecotec removing dash problems to get to the radio

hi i trying to get the dash off to get to the radio but i having problems getting the trim off by the passanger airbag are there clips there are there special ones i gotta do cuz i dont wanna break it or set the air bag off as i dont know how to disable it


2nd is the repair book says if i have delco 2 or audio theft that i have to have a code where u enter this code or what do ya do? is that reason why when i shut car off my dash goes nuts and relays click and kills the battery?

Re: 04 2.2 ecotec removing dash problems to get to the radio

I replaced my radio on a 02 cavalier. I'm not sure if the layout is the same. I had to remove some screws by the fusebox on the driver side and some on the dash where the windshield defrost vents are located. I also remove the middle console to get to the wiring harness. Hope that helps.
