Damn, that thing is huge!!! What size is that? And also, Tat, what are the specs on your turbo? Doing the install yourself? Where are you located at again?

its a to4b. it would do the install myself. its just that in order to remove the oil pan for my car, i need to lift the whole engine up. since i have no engine lift. i can't do it. otherwise it seems to be a pretty straight forward. you would be disappointed at my goal hp though. with such a big turbo i'm hoping to just get 230whp. since i'm running on a stock fuel system with a bell fmu and stock internals. so therefore that grandnational intercooler would do just fine. since a grand nation came with like 300hp. and for that big ass turbo damn!! thats bigger then the turbo's that i find in diesel engines. what size is that?

This might sound like a newbie question, but doesn't having an intercooler defeat the purpose of having CAI?

Also, it is quite hard for us to picture the size of your turbo from that "sneaker" picture because we don't know what size that is. You should take a picture with the turbo beside something that is one size(e.g., floppy disk, cd).

Anyway, still very nice stuff you've got there.. Let's get them on quick and post some dynos here.

Beef: compare the size of the turbo to the size of his engine. Or the head light, or the entire car itself.

Congrats on the turbo Tat!! I can't wait untill I hear the results of it installed. How much boost would yeiled 230hp in the KA?

All that shazz loooks nicccce.

you dont need a CAI with an Intercooler, but you can run a filter on the intake side of the turbo of you like...
