Window Regulator (Install)

Ok this is what I got: The regulator and these two tabs that look like they go in the track. What's the best way to step by step to install it.

My car didn't come with one to start with. It has a 2X4 propping it up.

You could streamline the car by swapping that out for a 2x2 - Half the weight!

Or you could look at the online repair guides at AutoZone.com for a step-by-step procedure.

Re: Window Regulator (Install)

I'm trying to put these plastic things on the regulator. I tried using vise grips but not working. Is there a special tool to use to get these on?

I used a table vice. And there is no step by step on the Autozone site, I figured it out thanks.
