87 Chevy fuel pump
Would anyone know why a newly installed fuel pump would not turn off after the initial 2-3 seconds of starting? The fuel pump just continues to pump fuel instead of shutting off, could there be a carb problem?

Welcome to AF, carbed engine, I assume, with what kind of aftermarket pump? Have an external regulator? Are there any flooding or performance issues? None of the pertinent info has been posted!
