Sold the 99 today, A bit Sad, Many years of Great Service

I sold the 99 sad to see my baby go. I owned her since new. Gave me many years of service and it never let me walk home. I hope the new owner treats her well, Bye 99 bye

You knew it was only a matter of time before that Canadian brine (they call salt) started to eat thru your Intrigue. -It was a losing battle from the start.

Now if only my dad's Intrigue will fail before mine. I could really use some extra parts (rotors, tie-rods, maybe a fresh hub or two)

In the Toronto area you can buy Intrigues with dead engines or trannys for aroung $250 Most so called dead engines have intake leaks if you know how to turn a few wrenches and can spare a few days under the hood you could have a fully loaded running intrigue for less then $500 on the road.

Well I drove GM's upto this point so I decided to go German this time and bought a new BMW X3 The transaction fees were $2780 plus 13% tax only in Canada we pay tax on our tax. Buttom line I paid almost twice what I paid for my intrigue back in 1999. I better enjoy it and I hope this sucker lasts as long as the Intrigue.
