1994 probe window issues
how hard is it to change over from manual windows to power. My little se has both manual regulators broken, and cannot find them for under 200 buck, each!! One of my buddies told me he "thinks" the power is already stubbed in on the '94's but i'm not sure this is a project for the shade tree mechanic...lol
Any ideas? |

Re: 1994 probe window issues
I don't think the wiring is there. Your best chance at power windows is to go to the boneyard and get the motors and gears and regulators and the switches. The factory wiring is complex to say the least. If you have a good knowledge of auto electrics you shouldn't have any problem wiring them up. There are no less than 25 different coded wires on the factory installation. So, somenow you'd have to devise your own wiring scheme which doesn't have to be as complex as the factory.
