97 z71 a/c pump saftey shut off?

so i tried to put freon in the a/c of my truck and got the pressure up to about 150 in hopes that i would get the pump to kick on... unfortunatly that didn't happen.
can any one tell me exactly where the low pressure pump shut off is and what it looks like?
been 110-120 heat index so any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

also the light on the a/c button does not come on when pressed in but the recirc. button light does work and i have checked the fuses i could find in the cab and under the hood. thanks agin

The low side cutoff switch is in low side line near compressor.
Also a high side switch at or near compresser.

But the compresser clutch is controled by relay and the VCM/computer.

You need to check where it is loising control of clutch or clutch is bad.

Get a good wiring diagram of ac ststem for the engine sise you have.
And go from there.
