Rhythm Supercar
Hi,
Here is a quick rendering of one of Rhythm's colour choices - inspired by a glass of Peller Estates’ 2004 Merlot Reserve. Interior upholstery samples surround the rendering...as well a sample of the actual colour chip was included, however, came out a bit dark under incandescent light. The actual vehicle can be seen by clicking the following link. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=936315 I'll be posting more drawings and sketches as time permits showing the evolution of design and thought put into Rhythm ![]() Cheers, Nick Last edited by iNVisionPROTOTYPES; 05-24-2010 at 10:09 PM. |

Re: Rhythm Supercar
I checked out the one-off custom at the link you provided. I like that you took your sketch to that level. Congrats on the car. I hope it gets a lot of praise and maybe shows up in a few magazines. I don't think it's somehing that would go into production, simply because it's so unique. I just wanted to comment on your Chip Foose style drawng. It's hard to mimic that. Are those Prismacolor markers you're using? Feel free to post your concepts here anytime for us to critique them before you produce them. I bet you could have gotten a lot of creative or popular input on your Rhythm design that might have made it more appealing to the people. It's a little busy but very cool. I see Jaguar front end cues, Bugatti side aspects, and a little bit of Aston Martin. However, I am neither a designer nor a metel fabricator. I just like to sketch. *G*

Re: Rhythm Supercar
Thanks *G*
Yeap, they are Prismacolor. I used to work with Letraset, but the art store I visit stopped carrying them. Just as well...I as either one works very well...it comes down to how to control them to get the effect you want. Production is a very daunting word...We at iNVision prefer to use handcrafted. Working on a limited basis more focus can be applied to how something is created and the quality instead of how many. Along with other projects on the go for customers, a second Rhythm is presently in design stages...much less retro...but still should be a head turner non the less. People have seen many cars in Rhtyhm: Mustang, Jag, Camaro, Dodge Challenger, Aston Martin, Bugatti, Ford GT40, Lambo, Maserati, Thunderbird ...to name a few guess it depends on what their preferences are.
