Talking Aveo oil change

As you may have guessed by now I own an Aveo in addition to an Escort. I change the oil myself. Capacity is 4 quarts, but you've got to let it drain down for about 30 minutes or you will overfill it by 1/2 quart resullting in 4 1/2 quarts in the crankcase. They most important reason to let it drain down for 1/2 hour before draining it is that 1/2 quart of dirty oil will still be in your engine. I realize that if you take it to the lube shop they aren't going to let it drain down. They're just going to change it and shove it out the door. It's easy to change because the drain plug and filter are right there at the front. Put the filter on really tight or it's going to leak.....

Torque is what accelerates you. Horsepower is what keeps you going. Without torque, Horsepower is useless, and without torque horsepower is useless.
