Fast, but luxurios cars

Well I'm buying a new car. I want it to be fast, but not a race car. I don't want to put any mods into it or anything. My budget tops out at about 17,000. I've been looking at 2005 Infinity G35 coupes, 2007 Nissan Altima SE, Pontiac g6. I would like it to be faster than my buddy's 05 TL, and 05 Bmw 330 because, well it just needs to be faster than theirs haha.

Get a Chrysler 300 / Dodge Charger R/T with the Hemi. It'll be fast, that's for sure! If you want a foreign car, it's pretty tough to beat a BMW 330i for $17K...that car did 60 in about 6 seconds and handles the corners even better. You may find something with AWD has a better launch (aka Mitsubishi Evo, Subaru WRX) but I think the Bimmer would catch up.
