Alright so I pulled the engine on my 1998 cavalier 2.2 to rebuild it since it has low oil light at idle and when I hooked a gauge up to it, it read about 1 PSI at idle. Got the engine out and everything off down to the block then went to remove the Crankshaft pulley hub from the crankshaft and it would not budge even with pullers and heat. so i ended up cutting slits in it and finally got it to come off.
My problem is no local parts store claims they can even order the Crankshaft Pulley Hub (also known as harmonic balancer). Rock auto sells one for $25 but they dont include a picture so im not sure if its the correct part or the pulley that bolts to the hub.24654654.jpg its the part that the pulley bolts to shown by the red arrow If anyone knows the part number for a local parts store (autozone, napa....) or if the rock auto part is correct that would be wonderful. Thanks Mike

Re: 1998 2.2 cavalier help
I used to work at AutoZone and as far as I remember, we didn't sell harmonic balancers. Why don't you go to a salvage yard and buy one there?
