94 Jimmy electrical problem with headlights
on my 94 Jimmy when the motor is running and I turn on my headlights I get the buzzer noise like you would get if you turned on your headlights with out the vehicle running, I went in some water and it started to do this- any ideas? I should also add that I had just replaced my alternator earlier last month and a little while after going thru the water it has stopped charging - would a low battery do this? I was on ly in water on the passenger side of the vehicle and it got a little bit of water on the passenger side floors. I was driving and it started getting dark so I turned on the headlights and the buzzer came on as if the truck wasnt running, then maybe 10 minutes later it died and didnt have enough power to turn it over to restart and I noticed my volt guage was on zero. What could I have done?

Re: 94 Jimmy electrical problem with headlights
can I disable the warning buzzer if changing the alternator doesnt work? It seems like it doesnt know my truck isnt running when I turn on my headlights and the tranny went into limp mode from not charging
