Question No CAT, service engine light help???

I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado Z-71....took off converter and put Flowmaster pipes on my truck....the check engine light came on and I took it to Autozone and they told me it was the codes for the converter...I was told that I could fix it with installing a cheater/stimulator...I installed the cheater/stimulator and the light went off and then it came back on again. Can anyone tell me how I can fix the check engine light from coming on without having to replace my converters?

It is illegal to remove cats if you operate it on a federal funded highway.
Also.
Engine will not run right without them
Put them back on and your problem will be fixed.

It is not a matter of air flow, the sensor cannot mask nox for one. put tape over the lite, obd11 enhanced is very sensitive as designed.

too bad you did this to your vehicle with out first checking these forums...this post is one of many , that have learned the expensive way ....these vehicles pcm/computer controlled engines will run worse not better with your ideas ...

return the engine controls/componets to original....if not poor performance ...will result.
