2005 focus airbag light

I know this has been answered before, and I read those, and I've already done everything that has been mentioned. The problem is in my girl's 2005 focus. The airbag light is on and won't go off. Normally, I don't pay attention to it, but it won't pass inspection with the light on. It doesn't flash or anything, and it's been analyzed by the dealer and there are no codes. All the sensors are functioning and the airbag module has been replaced, just for good measure. However, the problem remains. I know a lot about cars, but these new systems stump me. I don't even know where else to look. I've tried the battery trick, and it doesn't clear it. If anybody has any ideas, please let me know. It's been to several mechanics, and nobody has a clue.
