coil pac ?

Got a 3.8 buick, had no spark from #1 and #4 coil pac. Replace coil pac, still no spark. Replace ign mod, got spark but week spark on #4 and Too strong spark on #1. #1 cyl. is dead, good spark (think to strong) new plug with good gap. new wire, good comp, and even swaped fuel inj. Yet #1 cyl is dead. new plug is dry, but dark. Could a too strong of a spark cause this, and could it be the ecm?

Re: coil pac ?

There is no such thing as a "too strong spark"; are you sure the spark plug is OK and the injector is firing? Have you checked the injector with a noid light?
