1996 Monte Carlo 3.4L Z34

I have a loud, humming noise. Point of origin, seems to be in the area of the water pump/ timing belt. It's not grinding or squealing, just hummimng. One year ago, I replaced the water pump and idler pulley tensioner. The noise started about a week ago and gets louder with acceleration. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My Monte carlo has 175,000 miles on her. She has been well taken care of.

Remove the belt run it for a few minutes, see if the noise goes away. I so alt, w/p or tensioner/idler pulley is at fault. If not additonal diagnosis is required. Possibly in the timing belt components.
