Ya, the old compressor finally stoped and don't want to fix. This moneypit got me broke. It's running good but now all the other stuff going, hehehe.
Anyway I was wondering if anyone adapted gas shocks to rear. the parts only list the air ones.I'm sure it possible ,just don't know which ones will fit. Thanks for any help! MARLIN

Re: 97' rear shock- Can replace w/ gas type?
The suspension (springs) were matched for the ALC struts. If you use some typical "gas struts" the rear will sag. Are the existing strut bladders (air bags) leaking? If not, you could install a manual fill kit (Monroe Part #AK29) which would allow you to manually fill the struts to the desired height. What caused the compressor to stop? Was it a blown fuse?
