Infiniti factory defective low fuel warning system

Infiniti knows that their low fuel warning light is ineffective and basically useless. It will only come on when you have less than a gallon of gas in the tank.
To top that its a little bitty light in the gas gage, not on the display screen.
there is no auditory warning either.
Infiniti knows they should have recalled this and fixed it but they want to keep that a dirty little in house secret.
You got to wonder do they have ignored issues like Toyota?
Just how different from Toyota is Infiniti?
Do they out source to the same companies?
Issues like the gas gage make you loose trusts in these companies.
