91 lincoln towncar egr problem
How do you test the evaporative emissions control valve? I have changed the egr valve and the tubing to the exhaust. Still getting control valve malfunction code. Any ideas?

Re: 91 lincoln towncar egr problem
What are the codes? Did you check your DPFE sensor yet? And check for vacuum leaks?

Yep DPFE valve stands for delta pressure feed back exhaust.

Re: 91 lincoln towncar egr problem
Try this, spray carb cleaner around the 2 rubber hoses that come from the EGR pipe to the DPFE sensor and see if that make a change in the engines idle
