02 Buick Regal v6

1st. had the driver side window regulator/motor changed. Some times the window automatically goes down own its on when u start the car up and it might or not go bk up. It also won't go down or up. could this be the main switch panel going out? By the way this is the second regulator the last one u could hear it running but couldn't turn it off unless u turned key off. This all sounds like a big electrical problem?

2nd.Can't see the mileage # on the car It appears all the dash lights are working just can't see mileage?:b anghead:Please.

Re: 02 Buick Regal v6

It sounds like the power window switch assembly or a defective express down module located in the same switch pod. Your original problem was probably the same since the regulator with drive motor won't do anything until it gets the up or down voltage from the switch.

On the odometer display there is a fix where you remove the IP panel and re-solder possible bad/cold solder joints and/or replace certain resistors. Otherwise you will need a replacement IP and the last known mileage will have to be programmed in to the odometer module in the IP.
