Pudding skin.

Ever see that Seinfeld episode?

Some nice dry pudding skin caught me in Oregon last spring. Dried the mud on top and looked like the rest of the dry soil we had been on all day long.

NOPE! 8-10" of thick heavy mud.

Since you are new to the forum make sure it is displaying all the threads since the beginning (it's in your profile/options)

I think it defaults to something like the last 10 or 30 days. There are a lot of good posts and lots of great pictues, especially in the Trips and Trails section.
