Axle Interchange Question (I used search)

I currently have a DX automatic. I was going to swap in a DOHC ZC and use an SI transmission. Will the axles from my automatic work on the manual SI tranny? According to the search they will not work, but the Autozone parts numbers for the auto DX axle and manual SI tranny are the same.....so does this mean they will work?? If not I might as well go for a ZC tranny and aftermarket axles but I would rather not...thanks for the help!!!
