2002 cavalier dlr and headlights dont work but highbeams do
I have a 2002 automatic transmission cavalier, my daytime running lamps and normal headlights stopped working. My high beams work fine. I have already replaced my DRL relay, and switch. The car otherwise works fine. The first thing to go was the daytime running lights, then last -no head lights when I started the car. But I had high beams. When I start the car, drl relay clicks, and then the service light turns on. Last year we spent big bucks to replace the switch. I can't beleive its another switch after a year! The car has over 150,000.00 miles but still runs perfect otherwise.
What is going on with this car? |

Re: 2002 cavalier dlr and headlights dont work but highbeams do
Check the wires going to the headlight itself. There is a wire harness just before the headlights where corrosion exsites sometime and the wire just corrode away. I have a 96 Cavilier and had two wires corrode away on the drivers side.

Chechk the wire going to the headlights. They may be corroded.
