looking for advice, help, anything really...
Finally got my hands on Arii's Celica 2000GT kit to go with ST27's RA40 decals. I hadn't come across many details on the net about the kit, so was quite surprised & a little ticked when I opened the box to see how Arii had tackled the kit. Has anyone built this kit & got any suggestions or tips on what to do for improvements - especially the battery box in the middle of the chassis?

What? Nobody on here has tackled this kit? Judging by the number of times the decals have been oos with MediaMix or HLJ (don't recall where I bought them), I would've thought there'd be at least a couple of attempts getting around here...

The chassis is probably not much more than an excuse to hold the kit together so your best bet would be to make it a curbside build and use a motor tool to modify the chassis plate into something useable for your project. I did something similar wit an old Aoshima Nissan Z car and used a donor interior from another kit to make a presentable build.
