1996 Lumina starting problem
Hello,
I have a 1996 Lumina 3.1 v6 it will start fine then you let it run for a min or two and turn it off. When you try to restart all it will do is crank. Let it sit for a few mins and it will start fine. I have replaced the starter not sure where to go from here. Any ideals what it could be? Thank you for your help in advice. Ernie |

Re: 1996 Lumina starting problem
Welcome to AF, when this happens, check for spark at the plugs and fuel pressure at the rail, basic initial diagnostics for a crank no start issue, also check for fuel in the vacuum hose at the pressure regulator.
