Where is the DLC on a 99 lumina?

Can someone please tell me where to find the data link connector on a 99 lumina. This car is driving me nuts!! Thank you!

That should be under the dashboard on the driver's side to the right of the steering column, at least it is on my /94 (but the pinout is messed on mine).

There is a cheap GM reader that CanTire sells but its not good for some models (like mine!).


There might be a black plastic cover over it to keep dust out and prevent you from seeing it!

This plastic cover pops off to reveal a 2x8 or 2x10 pin connector, which only has 3 pins active.
