2000 excort zx2

hi everyone i have a ford excort zx2 it runs good but it does not idel right and has set a code of po171 system to lean well i have a friend told me to checkthe pcv hose under the throttle body can not seem to fine the thing and help please it still gets 30 mpg .

Check all the vacuum and intake hoses. Check them over and over again. You will find some of the hoses get weak in the elbow sections and will actually sqeeze shut or leak when running. If you have a good ear, listen for the "sucking" sound while it's running.
