Window motor is broken
I have a 94 Eighty eight royale.
The driver side window will not roll up. This hasnt been much of a problem for me, but lately it has been getting warmer outside and I feel the want to roll down my window. Whenever I try to roll down the window, it just makes two clicking noises (when I took off the door I found that the clicking noise came from the motors power box, so we decided the motor was shot) How do I remove the windows motor? Is it possible to install a manual in its place? |

Re: Window motor is broken
Removing the motor involves removing the upholstry cover to the door, and drilling out nine rivets (three or four holding the motor to the door, and five or six holding the window track to the motor itself).
No, you cannot install a manual in it's place. Trust me, I want to do the same thing in my '88 |
