New Software, You guys want to try it out?

Hey guys, bit off topic here I know, but tonight I bought some software called Autotech: 'troubleshoot your car'. "Car Problems?, Find out whats wrong before going to a mechanic." I just couldnt help myself. I found it in one of those cheapo software sections. On the back it listed all the vehicles it works with and it said I can get a free update for all the 2008 cars. Needless to say it said it works with grand prix's so I was sold. I got my copy for 9.99, but here is a link to it for 14.99 http://www.metacog.com/consumer.htm I dont think the diagnosis portion of it is going to help me out since its not vehicle specific, but I have you guys for that but it does have a section where you can keep track of your maintenance intervals on multiple cars which seems to be quite usefull once I figure it out.

Here's my offer, The program is actually quite small and would email quickly. If you guys would like to try it out, I can email you a copy, or even burn it to a CD and send it to you for that matter. Let me know either by email or PM.

I think I have it, is the cover like yellow with a car on it? My dad got it for me but I couldn't get it to work on my computer.

Yep that's it. Good thing you reminded me about that because I just got a new computer so now I can see if it works again

Re: New Software, You guys want to try it out?

***UPDATE***

I stored a copy of it here

http://www.box.net/shared/cmlgkrqos0

You guys can download it and try it out. To install it you will need a cd burner and software that can burn .iso images. It is 9.8mb in size so I hope you have DSL.

Try it out. Its not too much, but might come in handy for maintenance reminders.
