ABS Light Brake Problems...- Cutlass

Hey all you Cutlass Supremer's out there. I have a big problem. I just installed brand new disc brakes on all four tires, and new rotors. I went away up north come back, and the ABS light is on. ANd it's always on, it's been on for the last 2 weeks. Now... Something happened on my drivers front side the other day, where something happened to the caliper and the disc, where it grinded my disc down to the metal, and the rotor is completely shot. I was experiencing a loud grinding noise while braking at low and higher speeds. So obviously something was wrong. So I replaced the disc brakes on the driver front side including the rotor. And now today the SAME damn thing is happening to the passenger front side.

What the hell!?

The abs is not causing this, a sticking caliper. the slider pins not free or collapsed brake hoses would cause premature brake wear. Also make sure your brake fluid in the master is not contaminated with p/s fluid or such, this would cause the brakes to drag also.

Welcome to AF taylthom.

Please look at the dates before posting!!
We dont need to bring up threads older then 3 months.

and get it scanned with an ABS capable scan tool.
thier's not realy any other way to find out whats exactly wrong without the scan.

If you need further assistance post your own thread.

this is closed !!
