97 Lumina Power steering and flickring lights

I have a 97 Lumina, which has power steering problem. We had the power steering pump, hoses and rack n pinion replaced. It still makes noise, there are bubbles in the reservoir. There is also some sort of problem with electrical system. The headlights and all of the other lights flash. I have checked the battery cables and the alternator is charging 14.7 volts. Also the dome light does not work and I can't find the door switch, it works if I turn it on with dimmer switch.
I would appreciate any help with these problem.

Re: 97 Lumina Power steering and flickring lights

If it has bubbles and is making noise then most likley it still has air in the system. You need to purge the air out of the system. If the lights are flickering, then you could have one of two problems. you could have a weak battery, a dead cell in the battery, or you could have a weak alternator. Check and make sure the battery cable coming from the alternator is clean and tight.
