replacing 02 sensor

Yeah, so i've figured i'm going to have to splice a new sensor to the old wires, and i can't see a connector anywhere around the sensor. So i was wondering what type of O2 sensor i should get or is there a splice kit i can pick up. I have a 88 pickup, 22re. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: replacing 02 sensor

The plug for the 02 sensor can be up to 12 inches away from the sensor. Keep following the wires.

Re: replacing 02 sensor

the wires are inside a tube, and the tube goes into the body. Actual there is about a foot of cable before it goes into the body. So that said, are you saying that there is a plug inside the body somewhere, or would the plug be in the engine compartment then. Thanks for the reply
