Keys

Hi all here's a question for everyone,I have a 96 old cutlass supreme, has anyone ever had a proplem with the key that has the chip in it ,our car wouldn't start,on ocassion,so one day my son suggested trying my keys,as I hardly ever use my key to drive my wifes car,and it worked.I gave my key to my wife and the car has been going ever since, just wondered if it was a common problem. Re: Keys

if the key(s) severly worn out it can cause a no start issue because its not reading the chip.
The car probly thinks someone is trying to steal it

Good thing it was an easy fix
