i know its been a while (pics)

""here are some install pics i thought i would share.""

**copied from anotherforum i posted in**

its been about 3 weeks now with the new turbo running 10.5 A/F and very very conseritive timming map and the car still has no traction.

introducing the "only can get tracking on the freeway" turbo

PTE SCM 6152e a.k.a. SCM 61

still in the package...

dont mind the greasy manifold , its just my hand prints , they burn off.

all compteted...

at ~23lbs of boost 1st and 2nd gear dont even exist, no traction. 3rd gear is where the majic happens. on the freeway at about 70mph in 3rd i can break the 205 wide tires loose and ride the spin all the way to redline. in 4th i get all tracion and the car shows it true highway capability.
acouple time i have taken it up to 120mph on accident it just pull from 75-120 like nothing. im not planning to push it that much faster on these "H" rated tires. even with all the traction loss i still wouldnt want anything smaller.
i see full boost (23-24lbs) in 3rd gear around ~4400rpm

i need AWD!!!!

near future mods.
- AWD equal lenght half shafts.
- heavier clutch
- rims tires (Kosei K1's or rx7 fd3 rims)
- AWD shell and swapping everything over to the awd shell.
- suspesion

Re: i know its been a while (pics)

Do you have an LSD? That would probably help with the traction a bit.

Re: i know its been a while (pics)

no lsd and stock tranny. as it sits right now its putting out about 400hp with no tune and about 15* timming peak.

raced my friend with a BR350 evo , he ran 11.7 and his car is on stock turbo and still put down 38#whp, from a 50 roll i pull just alittle bit when shifting at 8k.

working on awd conversion.
