My airbag light flashes (#42), and remains on, can anyone help, its a 2003 Expedition 5.4

I don't like giving too much info on air bag systems, because they can be very dangerous and can cause a lot of money in damage if mishandled.
Disconnect the truck’s battery and wait 5 minutes for the backup power supply to deplete in the SRS. Clean surface/thighten bolt under the "front impact severity sensor". Located at the bottom of the hood latch support bracket. If that does not fix the problem, seek help as you may need a new sensor or other SRS repairs to be done. Quote:

Thanx for the help, i disconnect the battery for about 5 mins and the light went away.
