no, the automatic isn't faster than the manuel....but than again, it always depends on the driver.

It's not faster, but for timed drag races, it'll give you more consistent elapsed times if you bracket race. You'll also be able to accurately judge what effect nitrous or other mods will consistently have on your elapsed times, so you'll now know when to run your car on Import or High School nights where you can pick your opponent...:bandit:
