How do you use HEAT only on windshield defrost setting
It seems like the defrost function on my 2001 v6 Rodeo Sport kicks on my AC compressor. Can I safely disconnect my AC or pull a fuse so that it won't come on?

It's supposed to do that. It helps dehumidify the air.
