Oil pressure gauge flipping out

Has anyone experienced their oil gauge sporatically moving around. I have a 1996 S-10 and recently had issues with Dex-col crap. Flushed it out a couple of times and added the green. Had Jiffy lube do this and changed oil. Now my oil sensor has been bouncing around, and they say it's probably a bad sensor now. Ever get tired of being nickled and dimed?

Check your oil level. Jiffy lube might have not put enough in. Or do an oil change yourself they might have put the right weight oil in.

Re: Oil pressure gauge flipping out

I'm just joining the nickel and dime club, since my nice reliable daily driver got smucked up today.

I guess that I'm stuck driving my Blazer all over for a while.
I sure won't be loaning it to my mom ever (no other cars either)

I have an 1991 s-10 and the oil pressure level stays high all the time. When I stop it drops. It does have the proper amount of oil in it too.
Go figure.

I have a 1997 Blazer, My Guage only changes very slightly when stopping at a light, Drops from 85 down to about 75. I have used Castrol Syntec Ever since I bought it. Now just rolled over to 280,000 Klms.
