01 QX4 cabin blower gone nutz! Help!!

When I start my 01 QX4, the interior fan kicks in on high right away. But it is turned off?!?! When i adjust the fan speed, the fan blades on the display move, but it does nothing, it still stays on full blast. When I press the off button, the display changes, but the fans stay on high. Even with the A/C. Same.
The interior fan is always on, full force, and it's hard to keep comfortable on my long drive to work. I unplugged fuses, battery, the little things I could think of before going to a mechanic. Any Ideas, any cheap fixes out there??? I saw a few post on this but only one reply, Help.
I also have the Err2 message on the CD player and my driver side seat will not go fwd or bck, just up and dwn and the back of the seat works. Not a good month so far!

you need a blower amp to fix the motor problem. easy to do yourself. located under the glove box next to the blower fan. the cd player is notorious for crapping out. find a radio repair shop or go aftermarket. the seat slide motor also goes out on these. look under the front of the drivers seat and in the very front is the slide motor. while holding the switch to move the seat," tap" it with a hammer, if it starts working itmay last a while but eventually you'll have to replace it. there is a kit available from the dealer($200-$300). good luck.
