Re: Low Temp Thermostat

because having a lower temp thermostat allows the fans to kick in at a lower temp and that is "supposed" to keep the engine cooler cooler engine= "better" performance....and longer engine life....from what ive gathered...and it makes sense to me....but the mugen thermostat is 80$ vs a stock one for 5-10$...not worth the money for the gain...so i was wondering if there are any others out there....

Re: Low Temp Thermostat

Well go to your local parts shop and ask.

You can't go wrong with mugen. Bite the bullet and buy that shit.

Re: Low Temp Thermostat

stay stock! i had one (mugen) on my old lude and made no differnce..car ran better with stock 180ish??temp then the 160 low temp. If you have a cooling problem, look into upgrading your radiator, oil cooler, or change the mixture on your antifreeze for better results
