short throw shifter
just a simple question...i have a del sol with a b20block/b18head...will a short throw shifter for a crx/del sol work? or would i need one for a b-series tranny?

If your Sol has a B20 block and B-series transmission, then all you need to make sure is that your Sol has the Del Sol VTEC shift linkage (that's the correct linkage for a B-series engine/transmission). Your shifter itself doesn't matter - it's the linkage that has to be the right one for proper connection and shifting.
Otherwise, change the shifter itself to your heart's content.

I hate when people get short thow shifters... honestly, the sol's shifter is so short already that there's no friggin difference, and you have a risk of actually doing damage to your transmission... but if you wanna do that, have at it.. PM me when you need a new transmission... I have a few extra sitting around.
