what is your budget? how much mechanical knowledge do you have (if you plan on doing this on your own)? what is wrong with your current engine?

it died because someone poured a bunch of water in my gas tank, and it had almost over 200,000 miles on it. i currently have a budget of around 7k.

and no im not doing this on my own. my friends dad owns a shop so we are going to do it there. i just need to find a pretty good engine.

why not just go crazy on a 3sgte?

for 7k you can build a pretty intense engine...

I def. recommend the 3s-gte. It already fits perfectly in that car, and is a good base engine that is already designed for boost.
