Check Engine Light Diagnostic help.

96 XLT AWD.

Recently the Check Engine light popped on and hasn't come off. Scanned it; results said a vaccum leak.

We are unsure where that leak could be, but haven't gotten into it yet. Hopefully this weekend.

But, anyone have any ideas where this might be. I was thinking the air intake, but not sure.

Anyone had this before, what did you do, or what do you think it could be.

Thank you in advance.

-Steven

Was it P0171 and P0174? These are noted for intake gaskets, vacuum hoses. if you can find the source of vacuum leak, codes can be repaired. Use somr carburetor cleaner to assist in the vacuum leak. When you find a leak, the engine will run differently. Good luck.
