Question on Paint n Parts...

Hi..
I m a newbie here, I have some question, hope you guys can help me with them.
1> Can I use automotive paint for my model cars?
2> What sort of primer should I use if I use automotive paint? Can I still use Tamiya primer?
3> Is automotive paint too thick?? Will is fill up the details?
4> After painting, how do I "polish" it up to a gloss like a car?
5> Where can I get aftermarket parts for model cars? e.g. bigger wheels, exhaust... Any sites to recommend??

Thks alot for the help n time.
