I've never seen this on another vehicle... I've had my 91 for a year and a half and about 3 weeks ago while driving to work I flipped on the highbeams and both blew.
Yesterday, same thing happened when I turned my lights on with the low beams, both lows just blew. WTF? Do I have voltage reg problems or is it possible that since both bulbs are about the same age, when one blows there is a small power spike to the other one which is equally weak which puts it over the edge? |

Re: Bulbs blow in pairs?
More offten than not its a voltage regulator/alternator problem.

Re: Re: Bulbs blow in pairs?
this happend in my 91 hatch and I checked everything and spend quite a bit just buying bulbs but for me it ended up being the head lamp switch itself mine when I took it out was burned inside so I switched it and they work now dont know if its ur problem but it fixed mine hope that helps couldnt hurt looking into it.
