alarm led on constantly, interior light won't go off

I have a 2000 denali and for no reason the alarm went of last night. I used the remote to turn off the alarm and after doing so noticed that the interior lights would not go off (unless pushing in manual overide button on dash) and also, when alarm is activated the L.E.D. on console flashes (like it should)but for only for 5 seconds or so then, goes to solid red (sometimes when alarm is activated it does not even flash at all but just goes solid red ). after opening pass.or drivers door to the vehicle L.E.D. flashes again and continues flashing until the truck is started.
Any help greatly appreciated...

Do you have an aftermarket auto starter? I have problems with my Security Light coming on when I use my auto-starter... Hope this may help...
