Dome light flutter

I have a '95 Del Sol Si. The dome light seems to have a mind of its own. When in the middle position the light will flutter on and off when you hit a bump. I am suspecting the door switches of course, but maybe a loose ground somewhere. The really strange part is that the light can come on by itself when the car is sitting in the driveway overnight. Has anyone experienced something like this?

I am also having an SRS problem. The SRS control module turns on the light on the dash, but when I go to pull the code the SRS light does not blink. When I reset the control module and check the codes it shows no code (steady flashing, as it should).

Is it possible the dome light and SRS control module problems are related? Maybe a shared ground?

my dome light in my 94 del sol VTEC does the same thing. i just usually turn it to the "off" position

I think it's a sol thing.. just about everyone I know has a light flutter. The rubber on the switch wears down, and let the strobe show begin! Usually more of a pain to fix than it's worth... I just leave it off until I need a light, then I turn it on. It's not like it's *that* far too reach...

i have the same problem, its the switch on mind, all i did was put some paper to fill the tip of the boot as a temperary fix. to lazy to go to the dealer to buy the switch. i think when i check it was either 7 or 14 bucks dont remember.
