Service Engine light on
The service engine light on my 98 Saturn SL came on and my Saturn started to run rough. The gas mileage went from 40 mpg to 34 mpg no matter how easy it drove. I took the car to AutoZone and they read the DTC code stored in the OBD II computer to find a P1404 - EGR valve stuck open. I found one of the mounting bolts had come loose. Torqued it to 25ftlbs and car runs great.
