Winshield Washer Light

I can't seem to get the Winshield Washer light go off on the dash. There is plenty of fluid in the reservoir. I can't find the electrical connection to disconnect it and then reconnect as a way to fix it. Is there anyone out there that has a solution to this problem? I have another similar problem with the "brake" light coming on and then going off at various times. There is plenty of brake fluid in the master cyclinder and the brakes are in fine condition. I can't seem to find out why this is happening so if you have a fix, let me know.
